Into the Night

November 18th, 2021

Into the Night is an Original Theatre Company film project based on real events written by Frazer Flintham developed from the book Penlee: The Loss of a Lifeboat by Michael Sagar-Fenton.

It’s a dramatized telling of a lifeboat disaster just before Christmas 1981 which resulted in not only the loss of the Penlee Lifeboat and entire crew, but also all aboard the Union Star cargo ship on its maiden voyage.

The film will be streamed live from London on 18th December 2021 with an audience in the space.

It’s truly a hybrid theatre/film/online event commemorating outstanding acts of bravery forty years ago.
